Part-Time Administrative Assistant – Acupuncture Practice
Location: Ballston Spa, NY
Compensation: $17/hr to start, with potential increase to $18-$19/hr based on experience and proficiency
Schedule: Tuesday and Friday 9-4:30 (with additional hours available in the future)

Fly Again Acupuncture is a well-established acupuncture practice located in Ballston Spa, NY, committed to providing quality care to our patients. We have worked hard to cultivate a calm, quiet, and relaxing environment for both our patients and staff. We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position, with the potential to grow into a full-time role as you develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Greet patients with warmth and professionalism.
-
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and friendly manner.

Manage patient emails and provide follow-up when necessary.

Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment calendar.
-
Follow up with patients who did not reschedule or need additional reminders.
-
Process payments and enter charges into our Acusimple system.
-
Fold laundry as needed to maintain a clean environment.
-
Clean office once per week, including dusting, sweeping, and wiping surfaces.

Clean treatment rooms between patient sessions to ensure a hygienic environment.

Qualifications:
-
Previous administrative experience preferred, but not required.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.

Comfort with using basic office technology (phone, email, and scheduling software).

Positive, friendly attitude with a focus on customer service.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
-
Experience with acupuncture or wellness practices is a plus but not required.
-
Proficiency in Acusimple or similar software is a plus.
· Interest or experience in marketing, including managing email communications and social media posts.

We are looking for an Acupuncturist to work in one or both office locations .

Fly Again Acupuncture is an Acupuncture, Herbal, and NAET practice located in rural Greenwich and suburban Ballston Spa NY established in 2014. We see a variety of patient demographics and conditions ranging from infant allergies to geriatric pain. We are looking for an associate to compliment and expand our offerings in one or both offices. Mentorship is available for new practitioners; however, experienced acupuncturists are welcome. Applicants should be friendly, reliable, self-motivated, neat and organized. Flexible hours are available in both locations to accommodate a part-time or full-time schedule. May include evenings and Saturdays. Enjoy the freedom of seeing patients without the overwhelming business and administrative tasks that distract from patient care. Insurance network enrollment will be required and we are prepared to assist you though the process, taking care of all of the paperwork along the way. Starting pay $28 per patient with structured increases based on number of appointments per week. Two treatment rooms in each location make it easy for a motivated practitioner to earn $21,000 to $80,000 annually.

Position Requirements:
Must have a post-graduate acupuncture degree from an accredited institution (M.Ac, D.Ac, or D.O.M).
Must have all NCCAOM Boards completed
Must have NY acupuncture license
Must have current malpractice insurance.
Must be willing to credential with insurance companies, preference given to candidates that are already credentialed.
Must be willing to relocate to upstate NY.
