NAET is a Commitment to Your Health

When you decide to begin NAET treatments you are making a commitment to your health. At Fly Again Acupuncture you will be asked to participate in your treatment in a way that extends beyond your time in our office. You may need to read some information to help you better understand our treatments, make day to day dietary changes, take supplements, or do self acupressure. All of these things are necessary steps in your progress to wellness.

This is NOT Western Medicine

NAET is a combination of Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic, Applied Kinesiology, and Nutritional Therapy techniques that are holistically integrated to balance your body's energy. You will not be given shots or pharmeceuticals or any medical diagnosis. As stated above, NAET is a commitment not a quick fix but after experiencing a few NAET sessions you will begin to feel better.

Say Goodbye to Illness

Before you begin NAET treatment you should read a copy of Dr. Nambudripad's book Say Goodbye to Illness. It will answer many of your questions and it will enhance your understanding of the NAET process. This is helpful for both you and your NAET practitioner because it saves valuble time and helps you to ask questions that will specifically help treat your condition. The book can be purchased on Amazon.com but feel free to borrow one from a friend or your local library.

NAET is Safe for All Ages

NAET can be used to treat allergies and sensitivities in everyone from newborns to the elderly. Frequently infants with colic are reacting negatively to breast milk. Sometimes cases of confusion and pain in seniors can be caused by a sensitivity to food or objects in their environment.

What Can NAET Treat?

NAET can treat the symptoms associated with IgE mediated allergies (IgE levels may not change but symptoms tend to receed drastically). It can also treat intolerances, sensitivities, and non IgE mediated allergies. NAET can address negative reactions to foods, vitamins and minerals, environmental factors, objects (such as jewelry or fabric), and even people. NAET can also help alleviate physical manifestations of troubled emotions. For example, sweating, palpitations, and hypervigilance due to PTSD.

NAET can treat ear nose and throat disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, genitourinary disorders, glandular disorders, immune system disorders, auto-immune disorders, joint disorders, metabolic disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, nervous system disorders, respiratory disorders, skin disorders, and vascular disorders.

How Does NAET Work?

NAET uses your body's nervous system to identify and desensitize reactions to allergens. Neuromuscular Sensitivity Testing (similar to muscle testing or applied kinesiology) is used to determine if your body is reacting negatively to a specific substance (Eggs for example). If your body reacts poorly to eggs then acupressure is applied to a variety of points designated by Chinese meridian theory. The acupressure desensitizes your body to the allergen to reduce its negative impact on your body. Then acupressure or acupuncture is applied to specific points on the arms and legs to clear any further energy blockages that the allergen may have caused within your body. Overall, the NAET treatment is designed to align the energy of your body to accept contact with foreign substanced without negative consequences for you.
