Allergy Elimination Vials

Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine employs over 400 plant, animal, and mineral substances (herbs) that are combined into formulas by a highly trained practitioner. Each formula is tailored to an individual patient and his or her complaints.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha (also known as spoon scraping) is a technique that increases blood flow to the skin in order to treat local disease.  A round edged object like a coin or spoon is rubbed against the surface of the skin to raise a red or purple rash. This technique is quite comfortable and is very effective for treating muscular tension as well as the common cold.

Tui Na
(medical massage)

Tui Na is a type of Chinese medical massage that can be used to treat structural problems as well as internal diseases. This is not the same as Shiatsu as its primary focus is not relaxation but physical harmonization of body structures.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a warming treatment in which the herb mugwort is finely ground and burned on or near acupuncture points. This is often used in conjunction with acupuncture to enhance the effects of treatment.

Eastern Dietary Therapy

Eastern Dietary Therapy combines the theories of Chinese medicine with today's modernized world to provide patients with dietary advice.  An eating plan is developed on an individual basis for each patient's disease presentation and constitutional needs.

Cupping

A small flame is used to create a gentle vacuum in a glass cup on the patient's skin. The vacuum acts to relieve muscle tension and increases blood flow. Cupping is sometimes combined with bleeding techniques to remove congealed blood and fluids from areas of pain.
